The amount of data you need depends on your daily mobile data usage while traveling at your destination.

• 1 GB/day: Suitable for daily navigation, social media, web browsing, and sharing photos.
• 3 GB+/day: Recommended for heavy data users who frequently stream videos, make video calls, upload content, or use mobile hotspots.

To estimate your total data needs, multiply your daily data usage by the number of days you will travel. For example, a 10-day trip with 1 GB/day requires approximately 10 GB of data.

The validity period is calculated by Beijing Time (UTC+8), with each day starting at 12:00 AM. Your plan is counted by calendar days, not 24-hour periods from activation, so the first day may be shorter than 24 hours.

Your total data allowance can be used throughout the plan's validity period and does not reset daily.

Once you use up your high-speed data allowance, your eSIM continues to provide unlimited data at 128 Kbps for the remainder of your plan's validity period. This reduced speed is generally suitable for basic text messaging, but browsing websites, loading images, and streaming videos may be very slow.

You can check your mobile data usage in your phone's settings.

On Android, go to Settings >Connections > Data Usage.

Yes, you can use your physical SIM card and your United States (USA) eSIM · Data, Calls & SMS on the same phone, provided your device supports Dual SIM.

To help avoid unexpected international roaming charges, we recommend removing your physical SIM card or turning it off while traveling.

If you want to keep your home SIM active, check your phone's settings carefully:

• Mobile Data: Select your eSIMCAN eSIM as the mobile data line.
• Mobile Data Switching: On iPhone, turn off Allow Mobile Data Switching to help prevent your phone from switching mobile data to your home SIM.
• Default Line: Set your preferred line for calls and messages according to your plan and needs.

1. Data Roaming: Make sure Data Roaming is turned ON for your eSIM.
