We recommend installing your Europe Travel eSIM (35 Countries) D  eSIM one day before your departure while you still have access to a stable Wi-Fi connection. Installing your Europe Travel eSIM (35 Countries) D in advance gives you time to complete the setup before your trip.

To use our Europe Travel eSIM (35 Countries) D , your phone must be carrier-unlocked and eSIM-compatible.

Not sure if your phone supports eSIM? Dial *#06# on your phone. If an EID number appears, your device generally supports eSIM. Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked.

For step-by-step instructions, read our [How to Check If Your Phone Supports eSIM] guide before purchasing.

Our  Europe Travel eSIM (35 Countries) D supports high-speed 5G connectivity where available, helping you stay connected throughout your trip. In areas with limited 5G coverage, your connection may automatically switch to 4G or 3G, depending on local network availability.

Actual data speeds and coverage may vary depending on your location, device compatibility, network congestion, and signal strength.

The amount of data you need depends on your daily mobile data usage while traveling at your destination.

• 1 GB/day: Suitable for daily navigation, social media, web browsing, and sharing photos.
• 3 GB+/day: Recommended for heavy data users who frequently stream videos, make video calls, upload content, or use mobile hotspots.

To estimate your total data needs, multiply your daily data usage by the number of days you will travel. For example, a 10-day trip with 1 GB/day requires approximately 10 GB of data.

Your eSIM plan activates when it connects to a supported mobile network at your destination.

The validity period is calculated by Beijing Time (UTC+8), with each day starting at 12:00 AM. Your plan is counted by calendar days, not 24-hour periods from activation, so the first day may be shorter than 24 hours.

Your total data allowance can be used throughout the plan's validity period and does not reset daily.

Once you use up your high-speed data allowance, your eSIM continues to provide unlimited data at 128 Kbps for the remainder of your plan's validity period. This reduced speed is generally suitable for basic text messaging, but browsing websites, loading images, and streaming videos may be very slow.

You can check your mobile data usage in your phone's settings.

On iPhone, go to Settings > Cellular.

On Android, go to Settings >Connections > Data Usage.

For step-by-step instructions, see our [How to Check Your eSIM Data Usage] guide.

eSIM top-ups are not supported. To get more high-speed data, please purchase a new eSIM plan. We recommend deleting your old eSIM once you no longer need it.

Yes, our Europe Travel eSIM (35 Countries) D supports mobile hotspot and tethering, allowing you to share your mobile data connection with your laptop, tablet, and other devices.

Yes, you can use your physical SIM card and your Europe Travel eSIM (35 Countries) D on the same phone, provided your device supports Dual SIM.

To help avoid unexpected international roaming charges, we recommend removing your physical SIM card or turning it off while traveling.

If you want to keep your home SIM active, check your phone's settings carefully:

• Mobile Data: Select your eSIMCAN eSIM as the mobile data line.
• Mobile Data Switching: On iPhone, turn off Allow Mobile Data Switching to help prevent your phone from switching mobile data to your home SIM.
• Default Line: Set your preferred line for calls and messages according to your plan and needs.

If you're using a home eSIM instead of a physical SIM card, follow the same precautions. For step-by-step instructions, see our eSIM Installation Guides.

If your Europe Travel eSIM (35 Countries) D is not working, please check the following:

1. Data Roaming: Make sure Data Roaming is turned ON for your eSIM.
